Find the graphic that you like. Take
was saved in my folder, (this graphic is found at: http://www.cln.org/global/Banner.gif. )
First find the graphic. Use your right mouse button to click on it and save it. Then insert it by going to 'Insert/Image/image.gif'.
If it's too big, edit it down to size. Double click on the graphic to get an edit dialogue box. watch out for distortion.
Even use the graphic as an image map. I have a hidden button around t,he lower middle of the CLN banner. To insert these, d ouble click on the graphic to get an edit dialogue box select then select 'edit' of 'client-side image map'

This is called a 'text area' field. FOund in Claris Homepage under 'Insert/Forms' First I created this form, then I went to this CLN Site (Community Learning Network) From there I copied and pasted this info. from CLN. First I had to make sure that my netscape window was smaller than this 'text area'. Otherwise the pasted text runs to wide to easily read. We've found a number of WWW sites which provide such archives. There are hundred of educational lists, but finding them can be quite difficult. Fortuntately, there are a number of directories which provide "a list of listservs" which can be browsed or searched. Subscribing to CLN Mailing Lists The CLN sponsors a number of educational lists intended primarily for BC teachers. Click here to learn more about those lists and/or to access a quick way of subscribing/unsubscribing. Use in the Classroom Listservs can be somewhat confusing for novice users. The CLN team has prepared a couple of documents which will help beginners make sense of some of the jargon. Internet Invitations Archives This is a link to CLN's own Internet Invitations archives, arranged by subject and month. Net Happenings Archives Net-happenings is a service of the Internet Scout Project in the Computer Sciences Department at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. It is produced and edited by Gleason Sackman. The goal of Net-happenings is to distribute announcements about Internet resources to the K-12 community. Postings number between 40-60 per day. Network Nuggets Archives CLN's own network nuggets are archived here in hypertext format and are broken mainly into curricular subject area. Pitsco's Launch to Listserv Information This Pitsco site is a meta-list of links to other WWW sites which contain information on lists. Some of these are directories of lists, and some are resources/documents which will will help people learn how to use lists.
