Internet Addiction
I chose to tackle this subject because I think that internet addiction is becoming more and more prevalent in today's society, with the advent of the net being used as one of our primary sources for information and entertainment. This is especially prevalent for students as they are being brought up in an online era and will probably be the first generation to rely so heavily on the internet for use in their schooling and their daily lives. This can be tackled as a controversial issue as talked about in the goals in the Information Technology IRP or also in a discussion of addiction, which could be covered by the Personal Planning IRP which covers such things as healthy living and mental well being.

Internet Addiction and the Help Available- This site is a research paper done on what internet addiction is and what sort of help there is available to people that might have this addiction. What makes this paper especially interesting is that it is conducted by a high school student. I am assuming that this was probably part of a school assignment that, instead of handing it in on paper, they made it into a web page.
