GOALS!
This list is
intended to be used by students and teachers who are interested in
weather world wide. The goals for this list are:
- use of the
internet to gain information relevant to the subject area
(weather).
- access information
that is "real-time" for example; radar imagery and weather
maps
- define different
types of clouds
- define cloud
formation
- identify different
types of weather frontal systems
From the Grade 5
Science IRP:
- identify factors
responsible for weather systems locally and globally
- describe the key
features of a variety of weather conditions
- identify and
measure the factors that influence local weather
- use instruments to
measure local weather conditions
- describe the
consequences of extreme weather conditions
