The following links are designed to give teachers some ideas for teaching a Medieval Unit.. It includes some background information, lesson plan ideas, as well as some just plain interesting information about what life was like during Medieval times. This list of resources is intended to enhance the curriculum organizer of the B.C. Grade Seven Social Studies Curriculum :  Ancient World Civilizations.  This includes looking at ancient world civilizations and cultures, connections between ancient and contemporary cultures, as well as cultural adaptation and preservation.  Good Luck...
 
Kingdom of Acre. This site was created by a group dedicated to the education, understanding and appreciation of the Middle Ages.  SCENE 
CHAUCER 
 
Anthology of Middle English Literature. This site covers major writing from 1350 - 1485 and includes works by Geoffrey Chaucer, Sir Gawain, William Langland, Julian of Norwich, Margery Kempe, Sir Thomas Malory and Everyman. It also has Medieval Plays and Lyrics. 
Castles on the Web is a site devoted to, surprisingly enough, castles throughout time and place.

Images of Medieval Art and Architecture is a site dedicated to art and architecture in and around England and France. It has some good maps and many interesting pictures. 
The Labyrinth, one of the most extensive meta-lists of links to medieval resources, contains examples of lesson plans, exercises, and other tools used for teaching medieval studies to K-12 students. It's a searchable web server from Georgetown University.
