Purpose
The main reason that we chose to do a web
page on Black History is because of our interest in the subject. We
have been interested in different cultures and their history. We were
born in different parts of the world, which peaks our interest even
more in the subject. The world has become a small interlocking
location, due to the advancement of technology; however, this was not
always the case. The history of slavery is of interest because it
represents the beginning of the bringing of African into North
America.
This web page is informative and
interesting. It presents information that discusses the sequential
order of slavery to today. It is made evident through this
information the struggles that this race has undergone. As future
teachers, we also believe that this information has been neglected in
the education system.

Usability
The intentions of this web page is to
educate students and teachers about the history of Black Americans.
It may be used in the classroom as an independent project that can be
accompanied either by a test or a report based on the information.
This web page will educate students and/or enhance their knowledge of
Black culture and history, as well as teach a part of the history of
North America. This web page is an interactive and creative way to
have students explore history and acquire knowledge such as different
role models of African descent.
This web page is geared towards grade
seven; however, can be used for students in grade eight and nine.
There is a great deal of information but there is no assignments
linked to the web page so the teacher can attach his/her own
