Why is the BALD EAGLE an endangered species?
The Bald Eagle is an
endagered specie because of farmers who use chemicals such as DDT, which is used to kill
unwanted pests.
This chemical gets washed into the
lakes and oceans. The fish started to have DDT inside of them, and the eagles would
eat the fish.
Another reason why the eagles started to disappear is that they like to live in tall trees, and many of their trees
were being chopped down by loggers
.
