The intent of this course was to explore methodological and theoretical issues of research focused on games teaching and learning specifically as it relates to Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU). The graduate students (1) worked on collaborative reviews of the current literature become familiar with the various theoretical frameworks that inform the research and practice of TGfU, (2) surveyed past and present trends in games education, (3) explored research approaches and designs that can be applied to the investigation of TGfU, (4) examined the implications to personal teaching practice in P.E. when a TGfU approach is adopted. As a culminating activity students organized into small groups based on chosen topics of interest and completed a mini-review of research.  They then presented their reviews at the TGfU research camp graduate student conference. In this website are the videos of their presentations with their Powerpoint presentations
