CALL FOR PROPOSALS
Connections 2007 is designed to allow participants to gain insight into the variety of research projects and activities (planned, in progress, or completed) that are undertaken within the Faculty of Education and to provide a venue whereby participants may make connections with colleagues in support of future research activities.
Faculty members, research partners and graduate students are encouraged to submit proposals for either an oral presentation (15 min) or a poster presentation (75 min display session). Proposals should include:
Proposal Submission Deadline: 6:00 pm, February 20, 2007 SUBMIT YOUR PROPOSAL TO: Connections 2007 c/o Giuliano Reis, greis@uvic.ca
An overhead projector, a data projector and a screen will be provided for oral presentations.
Presenters (oral and poster) are invited to submit a paper (1500-3000 words) for possible inclusion in the edited conference proceedings by April 4, 2007 (final revisions due April 18).
Early registration fees: $60 for faculty and $30 for graduate students
Timeline: Feb 20: Submission of proposals
Feb 24: Notifications sent out by program committee
Apr 4: Submission of papers for conference proceedings
Apr 11: Manuscripts returned to authors for revision
Close of early registration
Apr 18: Revised papers due
May 2: Conference at Dunsmuir Lodge
