Join Jacqueline Guest to discover how the history of the Métis people in Canada continues to be a source of inspiration for today’s students and educators. Learning and laughing are guaranteed as we recreate the past in an unforgettable interactive session involving artifacts and actual facts.

With 16 published novels, Métis author Jacqueline Guest has experience with all aspects of writing, editing, and publishing. Her books have been nominated for many awards including the Red Cedar, Hackmatack and Arthur Ellis Mystery Award. Topics are geared for today’s audience and include wild motorcycles chases, runaways, the war in Afghanistan and violent video gaming. She lives in a log cabin in the high foothills of the Rocky Mountains and when not writing, teaching or mentoring, she enjoys the outdoors with activities ranging from white water rafting to dog sledding.

*Seating is limited for this event.
