Aboriginal Education – Advisory Board

The purpose of the Aboriginal Advisory Board in the Faculty of Education is to provide advice on all aspects of the policies, programs and personnel related to Aboriginal Education. More specifically, the Advisory Board provides advice to the Faculty of Education as it works to develop an Aboriginal Teacher Education Program

• addressing the high need for Aboriginal educators in schools
• meeting the needs of increasing enrollment of Aboriginal students in the Faculty
• offering education programming equal to other high profile institutions
• addressing access and retention rates of Aboriginal students in the Faculty
