Bachelor of Education Post-Degree Professional Program (Middle Years) – Overview

In response to structural configurations in the field , the Faculty of Education is piloting a middle years program. The first intake was in 2008 and, pending faculty approval, we intend to admit a third group in 2010. The program is offered in four terms over a sixteen-month period. It is designed to provide a robust middle years experience including course work geared toward middle years teaching and a broad range of teaching area options. There will be school-based experiences in collaboration with school staffs throughout the program, as well as in the practicum. This program will qualify you for a Bachelor of Education degree and a teaching certificate in British Columbia.

If you have satisfied the admission requirements for the Bachelor of Education Post-Degree Professional Program (Elementary) or Bachelor of Education Post-Degree Professional Program (Secondary), you may be considered for entry to this program in 2010. Use either the elementary or secondary PDPP application.
