"Netetiquette: Guidelines for Proper Behavior on the Internet" by Boston College:
http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/tvp/IT/netiquette/netiquette.shtml

"The Net: User Guidelines and Netetiquette" by Arlene Rinaldi
(see Electronic Communication section)

Quick tips include:

In this lesson, you will learn how to compose an email and attach a file.  You will use this skill to submit your assignment as an email attachment. If you are sending a file you have open and recently worked on, be sure to save your changes, or the recent changes you made will not be included in the file when it is sent as an email attachment.

Click on the name of the program you are using to view the tutorial on sending an email and attaching a file, then return to this page to continue with the lesson.

Please continue to the next section of this module is on backing up email and attachments.
