Inserting a graphic
For your assignment, you are asked to insert a ClipArt or other image into your presentation. There are a few ways to do this.
In one approach, you will need to select a layout that allows ClipArt to be inserted. These layout options will contain the following ClipArt icon:
Once you have applied the layout, you should be in the "Slide" view and the image box will prompt you to double-click to insert a ClipArt. From the selection of ClipArt provided in the window (shown below), choose one and select "Insert."
If you wanted to insert an image of your own, you could go to the "Picture" tab, import the image, and select "Insert."
Another approach to inserting graphics involves selecting a layout option that includes an "object." Again, in Slide view, you will be prompted to double-click on the object box to insert an object, after which you will get the following pop-up window:
Select "Create New" and choose "Microsoft Clip Gallery" to find a Clip Art or image to insert. As you can see, there is a wide selection of object types available for insertion into your presentation.
