Word processing software programs have advanced far beyond replicating what a typewriter can do. There is a word processing module in each level of the Computers in Education Certificate Program, because there are a vast number of features at your disposal. This module will cover the basic features of word processing. Microsoft Word is a common word processing program and will be the one demonstrated here; however, you may use other word processing programs to complete the module requirements. If you have any difficulty finding comparable features, contact compined@uvic.ca for help on how to meet the requirements.
