Plug-ins and cookies

You may have heard the terms "Plug-in" and "Cookies" before.   So, what are they?  In the world of computers, a plug-in is not a type of electrical connection and cookies are certainly not the type you can eat with milk.   In this lesson, you are asked to find out what these two terms mean and provide a definition for these terms in your assignment.

For your assignment, create a word document that provides the complete definition of "plug-in" and "cookie" and includes the online source you accessed to find the definitions. Hint: you may search the web for definitions or use the glossaries found in the Helpful Links section of this website. Save this document as "XXXterms" (with XXX being replaced by your initials).

Please continue to the next lesson on Page Setup and Printing Webpages.
