Introduction

The first PowerPoint module covered the basic features used to make presentations.  This module will begin to explore some additional features that are available.  These include the options for using handouts or outlines, incorporating sound and hyperlinks, and more. If you have any difficulty finding these features, contact compined@uvic.ca for help on how to meet the requirements.

Assignment

  1. Compose an email message addressed to compined@uvic.ca
  2. Include your personal email address in the "Cc" field to send a copy of the message to yourself
  3. The subject line of your email should be the three initials of *your* name followed by a short abbreviation of the module name. For example, Valerie Margit Irvine would use the subject line: VMIppt2
  4. Attach the compressed file or "archive" named "XXXppt2" that contains:
    - the ".exe" file of your Pack and Go presentation
    - PowerPoint presentation demonstrating summary slide, notes, handouts, action buttons, and hyperlink
    - "XXXhandouts.doc" Word document
    If you need to refresh your memory as to how to create a compressed .zip or .sit file, return to the compressing files lesson from the Internet II module.
  5. In the body of the email, provide the URL for your web presentation
  6. In the body of the email, identify the computer platform (Windows/Mac) and the version of PowerPoint you used for this assignment.
  7. Send the email
