The following modules should be completed before starting this module:

The first word processing module covered the basic features of a word processor. This module will begin to explore some of the less common features that are available. There is a lot of content in this module (more than the average module), but there will still be more features to learn when you get to level three. Modern word processing programs are truly amazing in what they can do to support your document needs. Microsoft Word is a common word processing program and will be the one demonstrated here; however, you may use other word processing programs to complete the module requirements as long as they allow you to use editing tools, drawing tools, and use templates/styles. If you have any difficulty finding comparable features, contact compined@uvic.ca for help on how to meet the requirements.
