Application

To be accepted into this program, you must apply for admission to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and for entry into the Certificate in School Management and Leadership (CSML) Program.

Please send the following documents to Graduate Admissions and Records, as soon as possible, but no later than the extended application deadline, June 30, 2008, to the attention of:

• The Application for Admission to Graduate Studies can be found online by going to http://web.uvic.ca/gradstudies/index.html. Applications can either be downloaded and submitted by mail (provide three copies and complete all sections), or completed online.
• Proof of a Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent from another country) from an accredited and recognized institution
• An official university transcript sent directly from the issuing institution or received in an envelope that is sealed and endorsed by the issuing institution
• An up-to-date resume

• Two (2) “Assessment Report” forms, completed by individuals in a supervisory or administrative position in a school district OR two (2) letters of reference that address the points included in the “Assessment Report” from individuals in a supervisory or administrative position in a school district.
• Graduate Application fee of $100.00 ($125.00 if you have any documentation from institutions outside of Canada)
• A copy of a Teaching Certificate, valid in the province of British Columbia
• A short statement (one page maximum) indicating your interest in and reasons for applying for the CSML Program
• A copy of this checklist, indicating all steps have been completed
