Your summer residencies will be an intense time of study, growth and development, and an opportunity to build lasting and supportive relationships with your peers.  We encourage you to live on campus during these times, so you can take full advantage of the educational and networking opportunities that occur before, during and after class.  Please note that while your tuition fees do not include accommodation or meals, living on campus is very affordable.

Lodging                                                                                                                               There are several accommodation options for you to consider, including:

Bed and Breakfast

• Contains bed, desk and wardrobe/shared washroom facilities on each floor

• Complimentary breakfast and daily housekeeping and towel service is provided

• Coin-operated laundry facilities and payphones are located in all complexes

Nightly Rate (single)            $47.75

Nightly Rate (double)           $57.75

Backpackers Special

Contains bed, desk and wardrobe/Shared washroom facilities on each floor

Housekeeping and towels not included

Nightly Rate (single)            $31.00 - limited space available and a maximum 13 night stay

Cluster Unit           

Contains 4 bedrooms, kitchen, livingroom, 2 bathrooms

Nightly rate                       $185.00

Craigdarroch House

Contains 7 hotel style rooms, includes complimentary breakfast

Individual participants are responsible for making their own reservations with the UVIC Housing Office. A reservation can be guaranteed by payment of a deposit, which will be applied to the declared first night(s) of the stay. Changes in arrival and departure dates, depending on room availability, or cancellation of the reservation requires 14 days notice for refund of the deposit.
