Note: Students wanting course information for years one through four of the five-year B Ed (Secondary Curriculum) program should refer to the UVic Calendar. Consult an academic adviser if you have questions about the first four years of your program.

Bachelor of Education Post-Degree Professional Program (Secondary)
Dr. Kathy Sanford, Associate Dean Teacher Education, welcomes new education students.
The resources provided here are designed for students entering the first year of the Bachelor of Education Post-Degree Professional Program (Secondary).
Students who have completed a Bachelor of Music with a major in music education, or equivalent course work approved by the music education faculty, will use the special music option resources.
All other students admitted to the secondary PDPP will use the regular option resources.

Criminal Record Check
All students upon entering any teacher education program at UVic must do a Criminal Record Check through the Criminal Records Review Program.
Electronic Portfolio
The UVic e-portfolio provides resources intended to assist students in understanding, creating, and using e-portfolios. Each student will create a professional e-portfolio, which is a required part of the education program. This will be developed over the length of each student’s program.
