Congratulations to Dr. Tom Fleming on receiving the Craigdarroch Award for Societal Contribution from 2001-05. Dr. Fleming co-led a UVic partnership with the Argentina government to improve basic education for at-risk children in six barrios of the city of Rosario.
Rachel Hellner, a newly graduated M. Ed. student and sessional instructor in Art Education, has received the Lieutenant Governor’s Silver Medal 2005!
Congratulations to Jocelyn Dimm, a sessional instructor with Curriculum and Instruction, for winning the Andy Farquharson Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Teaching for a second time! (She previously won this award in 2003!)
