Awards and Funding Opportunities - All competitions are now closed (Successful recipiants will hear from the Faculty of Graduate Studies around mid-late October)

The deadline for submitting applications for each of the awards and scholarships listed below is September 3, 2008 at 4:00pm.

**Please note the following change in how awards will be administered this year: ALL students in the Department of Educational Psychology and Leadership Studies are now required to apply for any awards that they would like to be considered for. EFFECTIVE FALL 2008 NO STUDENT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CONSIDERED FOR AWARDS. This change will keep award adjudication consistent within the department. All EPLS students have been sent an amended Funding Information sheet in their e-mail. You can also download the revised funding letter here.

Some notes about applying for awards:

1. Students should liaise with their supervisors regarding which awards they are competitive for.
2. Letters of support are required for each application. First year Master's students should use someone from their undergraduate (e.g., thesis  supervisor or instructor) who is familiar with their academic work to write these letters. In the case of first year Doctoral students, please use someone from your Master's who is familiar with your work (e.g., your Master's supervisor)
3. The deadline for all awards is September 3, 2008 at 4:00pm. Late applications will NOT be accepted.
